I remember buying the Killers album way back when it was new, as if it was yesterday, and I still have it! I even remember the record store where I bought it. Yes, folks, back in those times you actually had to go (PHYSICALLY go) to the record store to get your music, LOL!

There was something so engaging about album covers (back then). Not quite the same feel from a CD cover or thumbnail in Spotify.

Part of the charm of many of those old albums was the big-size artwork, and many times not just on the front cover, but also the back one. Sometimes even the inner sleeve and the record itself featured cool artwork. The above Killers album has this cool design on the LP itself:
